"This is a great choice if you want to explore Bilbao. Location is great, practically annexed to the bus, tram and subway station. You can also walk to most attraction, including the old town (around 2km). Room was big and comfortable. The A/C worked great. Bed was a bit too soft for me. Shower had good pressure. "We booked Hotel ILUNION San Mames based on reviews that highlighted its focus on accessibility. We were not disappointed. We have never stayed somewhere that has provided everything a wheelchair user might need from an electric profile bed, superb wet room, wheelchair height light and door switches and ample turning spaces for the wheelchair to move around. The location of the hotel right above the bus station also provided us with access to other places of interest and day trips"
